O God, hear my prayers—
Let them rise to you like smoke rises.
Set a watch before my mouth--
that my words show wisdom and love.
Help me occupy myself well-
family, self, work,l neighbors
And help me turn my heart to you,
that the seeds of your grace will grow into love.
May all that is hard, scattered, and unhealed in me
melt in your fire.
