Psalm 74 --Seasons
O God, why have you withdrawn?
Are you angry with me?
Did I do something wrong?
You have been present in my heart
now my heart is filled with ruins—
Angers, fears, doubts, resentments,
I’m a mess, who once glimpsed Your peace.
How long will you leave me like this?
Why have you drawn back?
You are my God
Yours is the day, yours also is the night.
You established the moon and the sun
You fixed all the boundaries of the earth
You made both the summer and the winter.
And a time and a season for everything.
even angers, fears doubts, and resentments.
Blessed Be.
Are you angry with me?
Did I do something wrong?
You have been present in my heart
now my heart is filled with ruins—
Angers, fears, doubts, resentments,
I’m a mess, who once glimpsed Your peace.
How long will you leave me like this?
Why have you drawn back?
You are my God
Yours is the day, yours also is the night.
You established the moon and the sun
You fixed all the boundaries of the earth
You made both the summer and the winter.
And a time and a season for everything.
even angers, fears doubts, and resentments.
Blessed Be.
