Psalm 3 Doubts
Doubts arise within me.
I call myself foolish and my faith, “wishful thinking.”
No lightning! Instead,
a warmth in my heart when I see
what could be Your work in others and in myself.
and a certain comfort when I give myself to sleep,
and a calm confidence in the face of trouble.
It does not matter what names I use for these good things.
It only matters that I notice them, follow them, enjoy them.
